I have a emark metro 23hp (fh680v engine) with 1422 hours. The throttle response is not great, the low idle is OK. It runs pretty smooth at high idle. Occasionally it will surge when adjusting the throttle, or engaging/disengaging the blades. I like my machines to run smooth, and smoother than this.

Finally, I ordered a new set of springs for the controls and governor. Also noticed that the hole on the governor lever was worn out so I put a new one of those on as well.

It will prevent the build up of gunk in the carbs. The way you did it the old gas sat in the carb bowls depositing the crap, then you put the seafoam in to clean it up.
